St Salvator’s bellringers are responsible for ringing the bells at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.
We ring the bells of the University tower for Chapel and University events. The tower has six bells, hung for full-circle change ringing.
The bellringers are a friendly band, of university students, staff, and townspeople. We welcome both experienced ringers and beginners - full training is offered to those who would like to learn how to ring a bell.
Officers for the year 2020 are
Tower Captain: Struan MacLean
Vice-Captain: Al Rossin
Steeple Keeper: Peter Williamson
Secretary: Rachel Williamson
Treasurer: Briony Harding
